Founded by Brittany Schlichter in 2022, the Ruth Retreat is one-of-a-kind in its purpose to study this book of the Bible, both in large group sessions and interactive small groups. The message of this book transcends the gaps of age, culture, and status, to speak to all women in every season of life. Whether you are a single, young married, mom, or grandma; whether you consider yourself an avid student of the Word or have never studied a Bible book in-depth—come enjoy a weekend of learning, relaxation, and heart-to-heart fellowship. Brittany Schlichter

Author, Speaker, NBB Finalist
Brittany Schlichter is an author, Bible teacher, and motivational speaker whose passion is to help women of all ages grow in God’s Word. As a teenager, Brittany was a national qualifier in the National Bible Bee for six years and won second place twice, an experience that helped her learn how to study Scripture and led her to memorize twenty-six books of the Bible. Today, Brittany has a ministry for encouraging others in Bible memory/study and enjoys reciting Scripture for conferences and other events: www.letthewordbeheard.com. She has had the opportunity to be interviewed by or recite Scripture for organizations such as Revive Our Hearts, FamilyLife Today, Institute for Creation Research, and Bright Lights. Brittany’s desire is to encourage other women to study the Word of God and to know it deeply, so that it can transform every aspect of their lives! When she is not working or pursuing certification as an ACBC biblical counselor, Brittany loves to sing, travel, and enjoy the great outdoors with her family in Deep East Texas.

March Retreat Details

WHEN:

March 27–29, 2025  

WHO:

Ladies 18+ (13–17 year-olds are welcome to attend with an accompanying adult)

COST:

$75 per person (early bird cost; price increases to $95 after February 9th). Registration includes lodging, delicious meals for the entire event (Thursday dinner–Saturday dinner), inspiring sessions, Bible study materials, gift bags, and crafts/activities.

WHERE:

The Lake Sam Rayburn area of Deep East Texas. Please email Brittany at brittany@ruthretreat.com for address details! Nestled in the East Texas Piney Woods, the retreat will offer plenty of downtime for R&R, heart-to-heart talks, and peaceful walks. This event is a time for you to step aside from your normal routine and enjoy time in the Word and in fellowship with other believers, in a relaxing yet invigorating atmosphere!
